Acorn recycling bins are manufactured from sustainably sourced materials which also contain a very high percentage of recycled paper fibres (typically over 70%).
To minimuse 'manufacturing miles' all products are made in the UK. From site of manufacturing to our distribution centre is only 99 miles. (Chinese imports would typically be around 11,000 miles for example).
Acorn products and designs take into account economic, environmental and technical factors. The products aim is to be environmentally friendly with a low carbon UK footprint.
This is accomplished by :-
- selecting raw materials with optimum cost/benefit results and maximum renewability.
