Post it Notes are sticky respositionable note pads come in a variety of shapes, colours and size. There is also a choice of recycled post it notes or super sticky to adhere to outside surfaces or textured surfaces which the regular sticky notes would not normally stick to. The story of who invented the Post it Note is an interesting one as it was accidentily invented by Spencer Silver when he was trying to create a super strong adhesive but instead created a low tack adhesive. Five years later a colleague, Art Fry, came up with the idea of using the adhesive to use to bookmark a page in his hymn book. A market test was done by 3M and in 1978 Post it Notes were launched. As they say, the rest is history!

The three most popular sizes of Post it style note pads sizes are Small Post it Note = 38mm x 51mm (1.5" x 2") - Medium square Post it Note = 76mm x 76mm (3" x 3") or Large Post it Note = 76mm x 127mm (3" x 5").
