A lab seat , chair or stool is seating generally used in laboratories that are a higher or taller than your normal chair,  aimed to provide comfort and correct ergonomic posture for long periods of work at science benches. The requirement is usually for a hygienic wipe clean surface, due to their environment, but lab seating is also available in a softer upholstered fabric option.

They are available with or without back support and castors / wheels and an alternitive facility of having arms added to some models.
