Highlighters
Highlighters pens and markers, or textliners as they are sometimes called, are a marker or pen that can be marked over the top of printed or written text that highlights anything of particular interest. Before these became widely available they were known as magic markers spelt as hi-lighters back in the 1950s/1960s. Some 85% of all bought highlighters are in yellow and pink color, but some highlighters mark in orange, red, purple, blue, and green in either neon or pastel colours. The technology today means that they can be marked without bleeding the text underneath and are available in a bullet tip or a flat chisel tip, a choice of liquid, gel or a wax like pencil quality and an eco friendly option is now available.
